Si el poeta continuó leyendo a Ovidio durante sus años de mayor producción literaria es cuestión abierta.------------------------------- Abstract: Claudius Claudianus, being a Greek of Alexandria, learned Latin as se-cond language and read many Latin classical authors before dedicating himself to poetry in Rome. In that context, he could have read Ovid intensively, already in Egypt, and not only as an obligatory reading. Whether the poet continued reading Ovid during his years of greater literary production is an open question. | es_ES |
