Abstract

La figura del carmelita sangüesino Raimundo Lumbier y Ángel (1616-1691) no resulta demasiado conocida, a pesar de tratarse de un personaje que llegó a ocupar muy altos cargos en el transcurso de su vida y a pesar de que dejó escrita una considerable obra, de carácter erudito, perteneciente fundamentalmente al terreno religioso de la moral y el estudio de la Sagrada Escritura. ------------------- The figure of the carmelite Raimundo Lumbier y Angel (1616-1691) is not too well known, despite being a character that came to occupy very important positions in the course of his life and although he left a substantial written work about the religious sphere of morality and the study of Sacred Scripture.
