¿Cómo y cuándo podemos aferrarnos a nuestras certezas?

Abstract

As Ludwig Wittgenstein remarked in On Certainty, we could imagine events so strange that there wouldn’t even be room for them in our language-games. In this paper we shall analyze the consequences of this type of events, paying attention above all to the possibility of deciding to stand fast on our own certainties. We will specifically focus in which circumstances we can take this decision.
