This article addresses the role of the media agenda in the context of political polarization that has predominated in Spain over the last decade. Starting from a first hypothesis regarding the relationship between political polarization and the median voter, the article focuses not only on the ability of the media to impose and manage a specific thematic agenda, obsessively concentrated on terrorism, but also to make the government responsible for the subjects on the agenda, as can be seen from the dominant framing of terrorism:“weakness and concession”.es_ES
