Ética, ecología y economía. Caritas in veritate: la encíclica global de Benedicto XVI

Abstract

En estas líneas se procede, en primer lugar, a pasar revista sobre la primera recepción de la encíclica social del papa alemán. Tras una acogida expectante, se requiere una ulterior profundización y reflexión. El autor insiste sobre todo en los fundamentos filosóficos y teológicos del posterior desarrollo de la doctrina social: la verdad y el amor son dos principios fundamentales –dos pilares–, sobre los que se debe apoyar la acción social de los cristianos. Se establece también un decálogo que resume el mensaje de la encíclica, en el que se destacan los principios de la persona, la solidaridad, el desarrollo global, la defensa del medio ambiente y de la vida humana, la cuestión demográfica y la tutela de la institución familiar y, en fin, la complementariedad entre ética, técnica y economía. Termina este recorrido con una proyección de futuro de este texto magisterial.-----In these lines it is firstly analyzed how was the first reception of this social encyclical of the german pope. After an expectant welcome, is needed a later reflection and a deeper reading of it. The author insists overall in the philosophical and theological foundations of the developement of this social doctrine: how truth and love are fundamental principles –two pillars–,over which must be held the social action of all christians. It is also proposed a decalogue in wich is summarized the message of the encyclical, where are underlined the principles of the human person, the solidarity, the global developement, the defense of the natural environment and the human life, the demographic question and the tutelage of the familiar institution and, finally, the complementarity between ethics, technics and economy. This paper ends with a prospection to the future of this teaching text.
