La trayectoria escénica de ‘Bien vengas mal’ y el manuscrito 15633 de la BNE

Abstract

Este artículo se centra en el estudio de una copia manuscrita parcial de la comedia calderoniana ‘Bien vengas mal’, la cual se conserva en la BNE bajo la signatura Ms. 15633. En concreto, nos fijamos en la información que este manuscrito proporciona respecto a la trayectoria escénica de esta comedia en el siglo XVII. Por un lado, analizamos el reparto de actores que figura al frente del manuscrito, identificando a cada uno de los miembros que se incluyen para mostrar cómo dicho reparto corresponde a la compañía del autor de comedias Pedro de la Rosa; asimismo, fijamos la posible fecha del reparto. Por otro lado, examinamos el origen del manuscrito, cómo encaja con las noticias disponibles sobre la representación de ‘Bien vengas mal’ y su relación con la compañía de Antonio de Escamilla, quien contribuyó a sacar la copia y a quien perteneció.------------------------------------------------------This article focuses on the study of a partial manuscript copy of Calderón’s play ‘Bien vengas mal’, found in the BNE under the call number Ms. 15633.We specifically pay attention to the information that this manuscript contains regarding the theatrical trajectory of this play during the 17th century. On the one hand, we analyze the cast of actors that appears at the beginning of the manuscript, identifying each and every one of its members in order to show how this cast belongs to the company of the theatrical director Pedro de la Rosa; at the same time, we establish the possible date of this cast. On the other hand, we examine the origin of the manuscript, how it fits with the information we have related to the performance of ‘Bien vengas mal’ and its relation to Antonio de Escamilla, who helped copy the manuscript and owned it.
