dc.description.abstract | The home movies have become an important historical source for documentaries made during the last decades. This article shows how those documentaries can be considered the audiovisual version of historiographical approaches such as “microhistory” and the “history of everyday life.” Besides, it proposes a kind of typology of the uses of home movies as historical material: from their recycling to make collective chronicles, family microhistories or dramatizations, to the films made by professionals using approaches close to home movies. | es_ES |
