Abstract

Ratzinger empieza su estudio sobre el acto de fe, partiendo del contexto problemático y existencialista en el que empezó su carrera teológica. Sin embargo, superando la duda y la angustia iniciales, apuesta por la alegría y el conocimiento cierto y racional. Recuerda también cómo el acto de fe debe ser un acto de toda la persona, que debe abarcar toda su existencia y que nace a su vez de una relación interpersonal. Pero también es un acto en la comunidad de la Iglesia, que requiere como condición previa el ingreso en ella por medio del bautismo y de la confesión del credo.---------------------------------------Joseph Ratzinger began his study ofthe act of faith, whose starting point is the problematic and existentialist context in which commenced his theological studies. However, leaving the initial doubts and anguish aside, he chose joy and clear and rational knowledge. He also reminds us that an act of faith must be an act for the whole person, it must embrace our whole existence and at the same time has its roots in an interpersonal relationship. But it is also an act of the community of the Church, and is conditioned by previously joining the Church through Baptism and Confession of the Credo.
