| dc.description.abstract | Heart failure has become a major public health problem. About 2-3% of people over 65 years suffer from Heart Failure. A huge amount of money is spent every year treating problems connected with this syndrome. In this paper we analyse randomised prospective trials which support the use of beta-blockers in these patients.
