La teología y la experiencia espiritual de los santos. En torno a la enseñanza de san Josemaría Escrivá

Abstract

Algunos santos han aportado a la Iglesia una amplia y profunda enseñanza. Cuando se logra compendiar esa doctrina espiritual en sus elementos estructurales decisivos, y esas claves cristocéntricas son captadas y expresadas en términos no sólo espirituales o ascéticos, sino también en sus dimensiones propiamente teológicas, se puede comprender de qué modo ese maestro espiritual ha sido, es o puede ser fuente de inspiración teológica. Los ejemplos abundan. El autor pone particular atención en la enseñanza de san Josemaría Escrivá, y tomando también algunas afirmaciones del Cardenal Ratzinger sobre dicho santo– ofrece un esbozo de un itinerario intelectual válido para reflexionar sobre lo que la doctrina de san Josemaría aporta a la teología. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some saints have brought to the Church a vast and extensive teaching. When that spiritual doctrine can be bound in its structural and decisive elements, and those Christocentric keys are captured and expressed in not only ascetic or spiritual means, but also in their properly theological dimensions, it is easy to understand the way this spiritual master has been, is, or can be, a source of theological inspiration. The examples are many. The author focuses in particular on the teachings of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, and taking into account some of the affirmations of Cardinal Ratziner about this saintoffers an outline of a valid intellectual itinerary to reflect upon that which Saint Josemaría’s doctrine brings to theology.
