Ley Orgánica de Libertad Religiosa: oportunidad y fundamento de una reforma

Abstract

Ante la anunciada reforma de la Ley Orgánica de libertad religiosa, este trabajo pretende poner de manifiesto cuál debe ser el fundamento de la proyectada reforma y cuáles son los aspectos sobre los que debería incidir. A tales efectos se pro- ponen unas líneas de actuación referidas al sujeto individual y colectivo de la libertad religiosa, orientadas a alcanzar mayores cotas de libertad en el ejercicio de este derecho fundamental.

In light of the announced reform of the Organic Law on Religious Freedom in Spain, the purpose of this paper is to highlight the grounds on which the reform process should rest and the main points it should address. Different of proposals are made regarding both the individual and collective subject of religious freedom, in order to achieve the best possible legal framework for the free exercise of religion.
