Siglo y medio de investigaciones: estado actual de la Arqueología de época antigua en Navarra

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza cuáles han sido las etapas y los ritmos de la historiografía arqueológica en Navarra de la Edad del Hierro y de la Época Romana durante los últimos 150 años con el fin de evaluar el estado actual de su investigación. También evalúa sus aciertos y desatinos con el fin de hacer una prospectiva sobre la investigación arqueológica de estas épocas de cara al diseño de un posible planteamiento estratégico de futuro de la misma.

ABSTRACT: The present article analyses which have been the stages and the rates of the archaeological historiography about the Iron Age and the Roman time in the last 150 years in Navarre, so as to evaluate the current state of the research. This paper also evaluates the success or the failure of the studies with the purpose of having a general survey of the archaeological research through the time to outline a reasonable approach to it for the future.
