El misterio pascual en la teología de Jean Daniélou

Abstract

La teología de Jean Daniélou ofrece la posibilidad de profundizar en el misterio pascual a través de la universalidad propia de los misterios de la vida de Jesucristo. Daniélou está próximo a la visión joánica y a las dimensiones mistéricas de la teología oriental, y presenta la cruz victoriosa en sus dimensiones cósmicas. Esa visión universalista del misterio de la Pascua está presente también en la humanidad glorificada de Cristo, que se encuentra a la derecha del Padre. El autor pone el munus profético junto al munus sacerdotal de Jesucristo al servicio de una teología viva que sigue siendo actual.

Jean Daniélou’s theology offers the opportunity to delve into the paschal mystery through the universality that is characteristic of the mysteries of Christ’s life. Daniélou is close to the johannine view and to the mysteric aspects of Eastern theology and he presents the victory of the cross in its cosmic dimensions. This universalist approach to the mystery of Easter is also found in the glorified humanity of Christ, who is seated at the right hand of the Father. The author puts together both the prophetic and the priestly offices of Jesus Christ, at the service of a living and still current theology.
