Los "gustos de amores" en la poesía de Quevedo

Abstract

En este artículo se estudia el reflejo del tópico de los gustos de amores en la poesía festiva de Quevedo. Frente a la poesía amorosa seria de corte neoplatónico, los poemas jocosos en los que refleja el mencionado tópico se caracterizan por presentar un tipo de mujer distinto al de la dama rubia de ojos verdes de los neopetrarquistas, y por propugnar una concepción del amor que incluye el goce físico. Asimismo, en el artículo se reflexiona acerca del influjo de fuentes tan diversas como la poesía satírica latina o cuentecillos tradicionales sobre el desarrollo del tópico en Quevedo, y se constatan las peculiaridades que se observan en el tratamiento del mismo por parte del escritor madrileño. This article is about the reflection of the topic of love in Quevedo’s festive poetry. Contrary to the serious affectionate poetry of Neoplatonism style, the humorous poems are distinguished by presenting a type of woman different from the green-eyed blonde lady depicted by the Petrarchan writers, and by supporting a concept of love which includes the physical pleasure and the sexual desire. Moreover, this article reflects on the influence of so varied sources, such as the satirical latin poetry or the traditional the traditional short-stories and on the development of the topic in Quevedo and the peculiarities which are observed in the treatment of the above-named topic by the writer.
