The purpose of this study is to show that Hegel’s influence in Saussure is quite clear in some points, such as the ones referring to the nature of the sign and to writing; concretely there is a close parallelism between the “Enzuklöpadie”, §§ 458-463 and Chapter 1 of the First Part of the “General Linguistic Course”, and between the doctrine about writing that appears in those same paragraphs of Hegel and the role that Saussure gives it in Chapter 6 of the Introduction of the “General Linguistic Course”. | es_ES |
