La figura del pastor en dos sonetos místicos de Lope de Vega

Abstract

Se estudia cómo la figura de Cristo Pastor en busca de la oveja aparece una y otra vez en distintos momentos en El peregrino en su patria y en la poesía religiosa de Lope. La lírica religiosa de Lope mantiene la capacidad de conmover al lector ya en metro italiano, ateniéndose a los rigores de la retórica poética, ya en metro más castizo con la frescura de la voz popular entrecruzada con la tradición medieval de la serranilla y los juegos barrocos del lenguaje conceptista. It is studied how the figure of Christ as the Shepherd looking for the sheep appears once and again on different moments in El peregrino en su patria and Lope’s religious poetry. Lope’s religious lyric poetry maintains the ability of moving the reader either on Italian meter, abiding by the rigors of the poetic rhetoric, either in a more traditional meter with the freshness of the popular voice intertwined with the Medieval tradition of the serranilla and the baroque effects of the language of concepts.
