La novela griega: proyección de un género en la narrativa española

Abstract

Tras un recorrido breve y sintético por la evolución y transformación histórica de la novela griega (características generales, presencia en la narrativa medieval y áurea, pervivencia posterior en los siglos XVII, XVIII y XIX); se concluye que la novela griega resulta un género maleable y fijo a la vez, cambiante y repetido, lo que pone de manifiesto la flexibilidad propia del género novelesco. After a brief and schematic journey through the evolution and historical transformation of the Greek novel (general characteristics, presence in Medieval and Golden Age narrative, posterior endurance in 17th, 18th and 19th centuries); it is concluded that the Greek novel is a malleable and fixed genre at the time, changing and repeated, which manifests the flexibility common to any fictional genre.
