Hacia una "nueva" lectura cristiana de la Biblia

Abstract

El análisis retórico del discurso de Pablo en Antioquía de Pisidia (Hch 13,16-41) ofrece un ejemplo de cómo los primeros cristianos leían las Escrituras de Israel. Entonces y ahora, en la lectura cristiana de la Escritura siempre está presente la tensión entre la referencia a la historia y el interés por el "hoy" de cada lectura. A partir de algunas propuestas surgidas en el ámbito de la hermenéutica y de la teoría del lenguaje (Gadamer, Eco, Bori, Gallardo, Balaguer), es posible encontrar un marco científico que permita integrar 'historia' y 'hoy' en la lectura de la Biblia en la Iglesia.

The rhetorical analysis of the discourse of Paul in Antioch of Pisidia (Act 13: 16-41)offers an example on the ways in which the first Christians read Israel's Scriptures. Then and now, Christian reading of Scripture always has this tension between the reference to history and the reference in the 'today' of each reading. Since some proposals have emerged in the field of hermeneutics and the theory of language (Gadamer, Eco, Bori, Gallardo, Balaguer), we can find a scientific framework that allows the integration of 'history' and 'today' on reading of the Bible in the Church.
