Las consecuencias éticas del dogma de la creación

Abstract

El texto alude a las consecuencias del dogma de la creación en el ámbito de la ética y de la antropología. De ahí surgen todo orden y libertad, el logos y todo amor como elementos originarios y fundantes. Por eso, desde el principio, la verdad y la libertad se imponen sobre el caos y el azar como principios constitutivos de la realidad. A la vez, el hombre se configura desde el origen como un ser en continua relación con Dios, tal como enseñó el Vaticano II. Considerar a la persona humana como imago Dei y como imagen de la Trinidad es un punto de partida y de llegada de la doctrina de la creación. Ésta es una reflexión válida también para la ciencia actual.

The text makes reference to the consequences of the dogma of Creation in the ethical and anthropological context. It is from here that all order and freedom come, as well as the logos and all love as original, foundational elements. This is the reason why, from the beginning, truth and freedom prevail over chaos and chance as constitutive principles of reality. At the same time, humankind is configured from its origin as a being that is in a continual relationship with God, as the Second Vatican Council teaches. To consider humankind as imago Dei and as an image of the Trinity is the point of departure and arrival for the doctrine of creation. This is also a valid reflection for present-day science.
