The humorous elements of José Mor de Fuentes' novel, La Serafina, take form of self-irony, irony and satire, three valid means of stigmatizing the defects of the society in which Alfonso, the principal character of this epistolary novel, lives. This triple articulation of the humour in La Serafina also fits certain romantic traits of the character's personality. | es_ES |
