Los silencios críticos de una recepción: Lope de Vega

Abstract

El autor rastrea la latente influencia de la poesía de Lope de Vega en varios poetas de la generación del 98 y 27. Machado, Alberti y Gerardo Diego dejaron testimonio de su admiración por Lope en varios homenajes y cada uno reelaboró diferentes aspectos de la poesía lopesca –popular, culta, metapoética, dramática– en su propio quehacer. El autor se refiere a influencias más recientes de Lope, como en el caso del poeta José Hierro. Finalmente reseña las relaciones de admiración y antipatía de Lope con el resto de los grandes escritores de su tiempo. The author outlines the latent influence of the poetry of Lope de Vega in various poets of the generation of ’98 and of ’27. Machado, Alberti and Geraldo Diego testify to their admiration for Lope in various homages and each one elaborates different aspects of lopesca poetry—popular, educated, metapoetic, dramatic—in his own work. The author refers to the most recent influences of Lope, as in the case of the poet José Hierro. Finally he outlines the relations of admiration and antipathy between Lope and the rest of the great writers of his time.
