De la "nivola" de Unamuno a la metanovela del último cuarto del siglo XX

Abstract

El artículo revisa varias definiciones de metanovela, entre las cuales predomina la idea de tensión entre ficción y realidad: se presenta ante el lector como artificio, rompiendo así el pacto de lectura. Luego analiza la relación entre escritura y recepción de la metanovela en el ámbito de la posmodernidad, para finalmente ver la relación entre la "nivola" de Unamuno con las metanovelas de escritores españoles recientes. The article reviews various definitions of metanovela, between which the idea of tension between fiction and reality dominates: it is presented before the reader as an artifice, thus breaking the pact of readership. After the author analyzes the relationship between writing and reception of the metanovel in the sphere of postmodernity in order to ultimately see the relation between the "nivola" by Unamuno with the metanovels of recent Spanish writers.
