The article reviews various definitions of metanovela, between which the idea of tension between fiction and reality dominates: it is presented before the reader as an artifice, thus breaking the pact of readership. After the author analyzes the relationship between writing and reception of the metanovel in the sphere of postmodernity in order to ultimately see the relation between the "nivola" by Unamuno with the metanovels of recent Spanish writers. | es_ES |
