dc.description.abstract | El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el valor predictivo de las estrategias activas de afrontamiento sobre las dimensiones del burnout y del engagement en una muestra de 775 estudiantes de diferentes grados de Ciencias de la Educación. Se emplearon las versiones españolas del Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS), Utrecht Work Engagement Student Scale (UWES-SS) y del Coping Strategies Inventory (CSI). Los resultados revelan que la mayoría de las estrategias de afrontamiento activas predicen significativa pero negativamente el burnout y positivamente el engagement. Los programas de intervención deben contemplar estas estrategias para prevenir el burnout e incrementar el engagement. | - |
dc.description.abstract | The aim of the present study was to evaluate the predictive value of approach coping on academic burnout and engagement dimensions in a sample of 775 students among different university grades of Educational Sciences. Spanish versions of the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS), Utrecht Work Engagement Student Scale (UWES-SS) and Coping Strategies Inventory (CSI) were employed. The results show that most of the approach coping significantly and negatively predicts burnout but significantly and positively predicted engagement. The intervention programs have to consider those strategies to prevent burnout and to increase engagement. | - |
