Abstract

El presente volumen retoma en la actualidad la doctrina medieval del Logos, que fundamenta el mundo en la inteligencia creadora de Dios, cimentando y superando a la vez dos horizontes temáticos en la antigüedad (platónico y aristotélico). La relación entre palabra creadora y mundo creado funda, por una parte, la inteligibilidad del ser finito en general; y por otra, el propio lenguaje de la persona humana y su acción moral.

The present volume revisits the medieval doctrine of Logos, which lays the foundation for the world in God’s creative intelligence, at once substantiating and surpassing its two ancient sources (Platonist and Aristotelian). The relationship between creative word and created world grounds, on the one hand, the intelligibility of finite being in general, and on the other hand the very language of human persons and their moral action.
