Manual de educación para el amor y el matrimonio dirigido a adolescentes de 13 y 14 años

Abstract

Pensar que la educación de la afectividad y la sexualidad consisten en tener un par de conversaciones al respecto en la adolescencia es una idea equivocada. Educar es un proceso y en este sentido padres y educadores deben saber transmitir los principios y valores que ayudarán a sus hijos en las decisiones sobre enamoramiento y sexualidad, reconociendo que marcarán de un modo especial su vida y su futuro. El presente manual brinda unas pautas para acompañar a adolescentes y orientarles en su proyecto de vida, reflexionando sobre la naturaleza del hombre y de la mujer, el valor de la amistad, la importancia de vivir un noviazgo limpio, el auténtico amor humano y el sentido de la vida conyugal y familiar. Y precisamente, inspirarles a que, desde un sano enamoramiento y llegada la madurez adecuada, puedan formar, el día de mañana, matrimonios y familias sólidas. Así, para garantizar una vida matrimonial lograda y feliz, es necesario comprender que quienes se casan deben “aprender a amar” y estar convencidos de que el compromiso adquirido en la celebración nupcial es lo más importante y lo que más se debe cuidar.

Thinking that the education of affectivity and sexuality can be done in just a couple of conversations with adolescents is quite a wrong idea. Education is a long process and requires a clear intentionality, especially when this kind of realities are involved. Parents and teachers need to think deeply, in order to help teenagers discover the values that can help them make good decisions in their sentimental lives. This manual is intended to give some guidelines that may allow educators support adolescents in the construction of their life project. It offers reflections about human nature, both masculine and feminine, the importance of friendship, authentic love, chastity, conjugal life and family life. The main objective is to give students the necessary tools for building up solid marriages.
