Iglesia y Estado en el constitucionalismo isabelino

Abstract

The reign of Isabel II comprised the years 1833-1868. Various constitutional documents were in force during that historical period: the 1834 Royal Statute, the 1837 Constitution and the 1845 Constitution. Two further projects did not come into effect: the 1852 Constitution and the 1856 Constitution. All these documents contained articles concerning the relationship between Church and State.

El reinado de Isabel II comprende los años 1833-1868. Durante este periodo histórico fueron varios los documentos constitucionales que estuvieron vigentes: Estatuto Real, Constitución de 1837 y Constitución de 1845. Además, se elaboraron dos proyectos que no llegaron a entrar en vigor: Constitución de 1852 y Constitución de 1856. En todos ellos, se contenían preceptos que incidían sobre las relaciones Iglesia-Estado.
