Abstract
The amorous poetry is before all imitatio during the Golden Age, but Quevedo does not imitate a poet or a style. Instead, he uses all cultural sources that expresses love in his period, and this is a feature of his originality. Moreover, these sources are only the raw material used by Quevedo to create with his own style, his own personality and his feelings and thoughts.
