In this paper I am trying to show the differential points of view between the escotistic theory of knowledge –which is a peculiar deriva-tion of agustinism– and the axiomatic gnoseolog of L. Polo, which has his inspiration in Aristotle. The univocist conceptualism together with the intuicionism of Duns Scotus leads to a primacy of the mental pre-sency, wich is just what Polo tries to overcome.es_ES
