La responsabilidad como primera dimensión ética según Leonardo Polo
(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2021) Sellés-Dauder, J.F. (Juan Fernando)
The root of ethical responsibility is the personal act of being; born of love, whose dimensions are to accept, the superior, and to give, the inferior, and is linked with personal knowledge and personal freedom; it is manifested, first, in the apex of the essence of man, the innate habit of syntheresis, and secondly, in its slopes: reason and will; and finally, in human transitive actions and in the works that they allow, which are at the expense of being accepted by the divine being.

La responsabilidad social de la propiedad
(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2021) Argandoña-Ramiz, A. (Antonio)
During the last centuries the so called ‘social function of property’ has lost relevance in private, social and economic ethics, turning into a set of practical actions oriented to objectives of equality and social harmony. This means that an important dimension of the social institution of property has been lost. This article attempts a parallelism between Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Responsibility of Property in order to understand the changes that the concept of private property has undergone along the years, which consequences this has had on the understanding of its social responsibility and how could it be defined today.

El reto del envejecimiento demográfico. Aportes desde la relación trabajo y familia
(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2021) Olaguibe, J. (José); López-Hernández, D. (Dolores)
Declining mortality and fertility together with increasing mobility are the three faces of the aging process. The profound change in the profile of the inhabitants has modified all aspects of life, both at the individual and family levels and in society. These transformations demand new paradigms, new ways of looking at ourselves in order to understand the changes and design useful strategies in the face of new challenges. This paper aims to contribute from the work-family perspective to help in governance of these challenges. Looking at recent past (socio-demographic transformations and changes in the work-family relationship) serves to understand the world today; and thinking about the meaning of life, dreams, solidarity, loneliness and sustainability of the pension system helps to face its future.

El sentido del trabajo en la sociedad digital: lecciones del crowdsourcing
(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2021) Gentile, A. (Alessandro); García-Ruiz, P. (Pablo)
In the article we explore the use of crowdsourcing as an innovative working and collaborative tool within the highly-specialized networks of producers, distributors and consumers. This way of understanding, organizing and broadcasting work by means of collaborative platforms has not been studied in depth. Specifically what is yet to be known is how the instrumental-economic along with the expressiveidentitarian dimensions of this type of work are constructed, keeping in mind the voluntary participation of all actors involved (businesses and professions, as well as potential clients). We broach both aspects from a relational perspective in order to understand what crowdsourcing offers in terms of constructing value, managing expert knowledge and promoting new collective subjects.
