- Liderazgo Personalista Integral. Un modelo para el liderazgo en las organizaciones(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2022) Zainos-García-Cano, E. (Eduardo); Cabrera-Vargas, M.L. (María de Lourdes); De-La-Sota-Riva-Echánove, M. (Marcela)In the study of leadership ethics in organizations, a descriptive perspective predominates, which, based on the analysis of the leader’s behavior and empirical evidence, is partial and fragmented. A deeper understanding of this phenomenon requires solid anthropology, which explains the concept of the person that underlies it since how the leader conceives the person determines his leadership style and objectives. In this research, we made a literary review of Personalism to have a person’s systematic notion, which contemplates it in all its complexity. On this basis, we propose a model of Comprehensive Personalist Leadership, with an ethical and transcendent sense, in which the leader rethinks his priorities and strives to align the interests of people and the organization towards the common good.

- Cuarenta años de polarización ideológica en España(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2022) Portilla-Manjón, I. (Idoia); Sierra-Iso, A. (Aurken); Rodríguez-Virgili, J. (Jordi)This article analyses the evolution of ideological polarisation in the Spanish party system since 1979. We offer a reformulation to improve the index’s accuracy when measuring polarization and apply it to the 14 general elections held in the country since the approval of the current Constitution. The results show the development consisting of two separated periods of seven elections each, together with a clear increase in ideological polarisation since 2015, reaching an alltime high at the present time. The measurement of ideological polarisation is complemented with the volatility and electoral competition generated by the arrival of new parties. The most notable increases happened after critical elections, this is, elections in which a substantial and long-lasting changes in electoral aligning took place.
- El tortuoso camino hacia la justa distribución de la renta y de la riqueza(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2022) Benítez-Aurioles, B. (Beatriz)The available statistical information points to a growth in income and wealth inequality in the last decade, which has stimulated the debate on the most appropriate policies to reverse the process. The discussion revolves around the definition of the objective to be achieved, the most appropriate way to measure it and the instruments to be used, taking into account the collateral effects of the measures implemented. In this context, the opportunity arises for companies to strengthen their social commitment by seeking, in their field of action, distributive justice.
