The article explores the concepts of love and sexuality in the process of maturity. Identity, autonomy, and self-esteem are put into relation with faith, hope, and charity. Psychological obstacles to a fulfilled existence and how to deal with them are explained. The coherence or unity of life is presented as a central aspect of personality. Celibacy is a gift that develops through willpower and God’s grace.
