    The research aims to analyze if short fi lms are an appropriate resource to stimulate divergent thinking in children watch images that enhance the imagination and inventiveness. The study was carried out with Grade 1 subjects using a quantitative and qualitative paradigm, through an experimental design of group comparison of the creativity variable, before and after the implementation of a program based on short fi lms for children. After the implementation of the program, favorable changes were found in the creative function of children in experimental groups and not in the control group.
