Se proponen criterios para interpretar la circunstancia de parentesco como atenuante, agravante o eximente, atendiendo a las razones jurídico- penales y político-criminales que subyacen a su regulación.

There are some special duties and expectations that flow from the parenthood as a legal institution, and that make the criminal act to be more or less serious. This article proposes several criteria in order to interpret the parenthood circumstance as an aggravating or a mitigating factor, or even as a defense, in accordance with criminal law reasons underlying its regulation.
