The present work aims at studying the fusion between the autofiction and the metafiction in Eduardo Berti’s autonovela. The paper focuses on the different strategies used by the Argentine writer in order to create the fragmentation, brevity and fractality in the narrative discourse. It concludes with the argument that fragmentary writing is the most convenient form of autofictional literature.

En el presente trabajo analizaremos cómo se produce la fusión entre lo autoficcional y lo metaficcional en dos autonovelas de Eduardo Berti. Comprobaremos cómo la escritura fragmentaria es la más indicada para expresar esta literatura de corte autoficcional, y observaremos las diferentes estrategias utilizadas por el autor argentino en la creación de unas novelas caracterizadas por la fragmentariedad, la brevedad y la fractalidad del discurso narrativo.
