(Topic Chain) es una secuencia yuxtapuesta de tema y rema. Este artículo es un estudio de este tipo de estructura, considerada como un fenómeno que acontece en el nivel del discurso. La idea de «cadena del tema» fue introducida por Dixon en 1972, Feng-Fu Tsao introduce y aplica este concepto a la gramática china. Nosotros defendemos en este articulo que la «cadena del tema» es similar al segundo tipo de «progresión temática» (Thematische Progression): la «progresión temática con tema constante» (Der Typus mit einem durchlaufenden Thema), tal como es expuesta por Frantisek Danés en 1970. The so-called topic chain is a sequence of topic / comment construction juxtaposed, and this article is a study of this kind of structure which is to be considered as a phenomenon of discourse level. The idea of topic chain is first introduced by Dixon in 1972. For lack of direct knowledge of Dyribal, we will not have anything to say about it here. However, Feng-Fu Tsao introduce and apply this concept to the Chínese grammar. It will be argued in this paper that topic chain is similar to the second type of «thematic progression» (Thematische Progression): «thematic progression with continuous theme» (Der Typus mit einem durchlaufenden Themá) which is exposed by Frantisek Danés en 1970.
