Tras examinar la naturaleza de los conventos jurídicos de la Hispania Citerior, desechando su condición de circunscripciones propiamente administrativas, este trabajo pretende establecer el trazado más verosímil de los límites occidentales del convento cesaraugustano –entendidos como una agregación de territorios municipales–, sobre todo en las áreas de las ciudades vasconas, várdulas y beronas, así como las razones que motivaron la presencia de varios legados jurídicos en Calagurris a comienzos del siglo II d. E.

Once examined the nature of the conuentus iuridici of Hispania Citerior and discarded its condition of proper administrative districts, this paper aims to establish the most likely layout for the western limits of the conuentus Caesaraugustanus (i. e., of the territories of its municipalities), especially in the areas belonging to the cities of the Varduli, Vascones and Berones. It deals also with the reasons which explain the presence of several legati iuridici in Calagurris at the early second Century CE.
