Este artículo estudia las relaciones entre Carnaval y Teatro. En la primera parte, teatro en Carnaval, se analizan las distintas actividades parateatrales íntimamente ligadas a celebraciones carnavalescas, y la progresiva integración de las representaciones dramáticas en las celebraciones del Carnaval hasta llegar a convertirse, en las Carnestolendas palaciegas, en el propio festejo. En la segunda parte, Carnaval en el teatro, se presentan testimonios del Carnaval como tema o motivo de obras dramáticas. This article studies the relations between Carnival and Theater. The first part "teatro en Carnaval" examines some elements as "mojigangas", "mascaradas", "danzas", etc., integrated in the world of the Carnival. The second part "Carnaval en el teatro" observes the Carnival as theme, motif or dramatic resort in the plays.
