Corresponde a la Bioética regular el uso de las biotecnologías en el campo de la vida humana. Sobre esta base, el estudio analiza los diversos modelos éticos y muestra cómo sólo con una fundamentación antropológica personalista se es conforme con la dignidad de la persona humana. Pero, como sólo la Revelación da a conocer la verdad plena sobre el valor y sentido de la vida del hombre, y éste es el objeto sobre el que trata la Teología Moral, el estudio muestra también la importancia del servicio de la Teología a la Bioética. Es la cuestión de la distinción y relaciones entre la Teología Moral y Bioética.

The role of Bioethics is to regulate the use of biotechnology in the field of human life. On this basis, this study analyzes various ethical models, showing how only a personalist anthropological basis is in keeping with the dignity of the human person. But, as only Revelation can give the whole truth about the value and meaning of human life, and this is the object of Moral Theology, this paper also shows the importance of the service which Theology provides for Bioethics. The distinction and relations between Moral Theology and Bioethics are discussed.
