The iconography gives an effective aid to the argumentative discourse of Quevedo. The writer uses an illustration, in most of the cases, a scene or a figurative print, to conclude and to finish off the exhibition of a certain concept. The author illustrates with Virtud militante, using images, the moral reasoning of four vices of manhood: Envy, Ungratefulness, Pride and Greed. | es_ES |
