En torno a la difusión de la obra de D. Martín de Azpilicueta en el sur de Italia durante el siglo XVI

Abstract

Se llama la atención sobre esta figura destacada de la época y sobre las relaciones culturales en la segunda mitad del siglo XVI entabladas entre el sur de Italia y la corriente espiritual española, favorecidas por factores como el ambiente natural propicio al recogimiento espiritual o la proliferación de las órdenes religiosas en la zona. La difusión de la obra de Azpilicueta contribuyó a la renovación metodológica y humanista en una zona de profundas raíces medievales. The article draws attention to this relevant figure of the time and to the cultural relations on the second half of the 16th century between the south of Italy and the Spanish spiritual current, favored by factors such as the natural environment favorable to the spiritual withdraw or the proliferation of religious orders in the zone. The diffusion of Azpilcueta’s work contributed to the methodological and humanist renovation in a zone of deep medieval roots.
