La Lisi de Quevedo

Abstract

La poesía amorosa de Quevedo es heredera, en buena parte, del modelo petrarquista y nos presenta una figura de dama amada bastante arquetípica. Sin embargo, en el grupo de poemas a Lisi, nos encontramos con una mujer algo diferente en sus actitudes, más concreta, con rasgos más individualizados, (¿más real?). Es también diferente, muchas veces, la actitud del amante frente a ella. Quevedo’s love poetry has its origins in the Petrarchist model and it shows a very archetypical female figure. However, we discover a very different woman in her attitudes in the group of poems dealing with Lisi. She is described with a more real, more defined expression, with more distinctive features. And we must admit that the lover’s attitude towards her is also different in many occasions.
