De Cervantes a Quevedo: testamento y muerte de don Quijote

Abstract

Análisis del romance burlesco de Quevedo titulado «Testamento de don Quijote». Es una hábil reescritura del final de Don Quijote, ii, que invierte y parodia distintos episodios y elementos de la novela que sirve de hipotexto, con la persistencia en la locura del protagonista como principal y significativa alteración. This article presents a study of the burlesque ballad by Quevedo, entitled «Don Quixote’s testament». It is a skilful rewriting of the end of Don Quixote, ii, which inverts and takes many episodes and elements of the hipotextual novel to parody, with the persistence in madness of the protagonist as the principal and significant alteration.
