Asociaciones de fieles y vida consagrada: distintas relaciones y sus perspectivas canónicas

Abstract

En el marco de la Iglesia-comunión, la autora afronta algunos problemas canónicos que aparecen en las distintas relaciones entre asociaciones de fieles y vida consagrada: distingue, en primer lugar, las terceras órdenes de otras asociaciones de fieles vinculadas a una familia religiosa, ilustrando las diferencias en algunos estatutos; estudia después la cuestión de los miembros laicos casados en las nuevas formas de vida consagrada, comparando este aspecto en distintos institutos con aprobación pontificia. A propósito de los religiosos vinculados a movimientos eclesiales, la autora sintetiza algunos criterios del magisterio y de la reflexión teológica. Asimismo, trata el caso de los miembros célibes en las asociaciones de fieles, de- limitando el concepto canónico de consagración. Al considerar la aprobación pontificia de nuevas formas de vida consagrada y de nuevas comunidades eclesiales, la autora reconoce que los distintos carismas tienen el deber de buscar la forma jurídica más adecuada a su ser y desarrollo.

A number of canonical issues regarding the relationships between associations of the faithful and consecrated life are addressed within the context of the Church as communion. First, Third Orders are distinguished from other associations of the Christian faithful linked to religious congregations; some differences are illustrated by reference to a number of statutes. Next, the question of married members in the new forms of consecrated life is explored, offering a comparative account in relation to institutes with pontifical approval. With regard to religious who join ecclesial movements, a series of criteria drawn from the teaching of the Magisterium and other theological sources is presented. Then, the issue of celibate members in some associations of the faithful is addressed, through a definition of the canonical concept of consecration. In light of the pontifical approval for new forms of consecrated life and ecclesial movements, the author argues that it is the duty of each charism to find the juridical form most adequate to its nature and development.
