Relaciones ciencia y religión en el siglo XXI: ¿fracaso de la llamada “razón secular”?

Abstract

En este trabajo se analizan las relaciones entre ciencia y religión en este inicio del siglo XXI en un contexto de cambio. La hipótesis de partida es el fracaso de la llamada “razón secular”. A continuación se enuncian los aspectos que a primera vista visualizan este cambio desde la perspectiva de la religión y de la ciencia experimental. Finalmente se sugieren algunas propuestas para integrar interdisciplinariamente esta relación de tanta importancia para una visión integral y profunda de la realidad.

Relationships between Science and Religion in the twentyfirst Century: A Failure of the so-called “Secular Reason”? In this work we analyze the relationship between science and religion in the beginning of the 21st century in a context of change. The hypothesis from which we articulate the paper is that we are immersed in a failure of the so-called “secular raison”. Next, we show the aspects that in a first sight illustrate his change from the point of view of religion and experimental science. Finally, we suggest some proposals to integrate in an interdisciplinary perspective this relationship, which is so important to obtain a comprehensive and profound vision of reality.
