In this article the types and structures of journalistic speech are studied as determined or motivated by the culture of a community, because it is argued that impartiality in the selection and elaboration of news is impossible. The relation between the positivist ideology and the journalistic text, the redacting technique and the subjacent ideology, the fact judgments and value judgments, and objectivity as a strategic ritual are defined. | es_ES |
