El teólogo y su teología: Henri de Lubac y Surnaturel (1946)

Abstract

El teólogo lo es en la medida en que mantiene viva una triple relación: con la revelación de Dios, con la reflexión humana y con la historia concreta en la que se sitúa y en la que él mismo es actor. De esos tres elementos esenciales, en este trabajo interesa el tercero: aquel que establece una conexión necesaria entre la experiencia de vida, en este caso de Henri de Lubac y su controvertida obra Surnaturel, publicada en 1946. El objetivo primero es conocer la manera como fue emergiendo la temática y la argumentación básica de Surnaturel en el pensamiento y en la vida del teólogo francés. Para ello se estudia la formación que recibió; su experiencia de profesor y autor; el influjo de maestros y amigos (especialmente de Blondel). En un segundo momento se aborda la situación que ocupaba Jo sobrenatural en !a comprensión lubaciana de la teología. Tras referir la aparición de Surnaturel, se trata de la recepción que tuvo y de los avatares que afectaron a su autor.

Ot these three essentiaf elements, this paper is interested in the third: dea/ing with the necessary connection between the experience ot lite, in this case, Henri de Lubac and his controversia/ work Surnature/, published in 1946. The main objective is to know how the subject matter ca me up and Surnature/'s basic argumentation in the thinking and the lite ot the French theologian. For this, the tormation he received, his experience as a protessor and author, the influence trom his teachers and triends (especial/y from Blondel) is studíed. Next, the place of the supernatural in Lubac's understanding of Theology is tackled. After reterring to Surnature's appearance, the reception it had and the vicissitudes that affected the author are treated.
