In this paper an ironicaintepretation of the Delibes’ tale «la mortaja» is proposed. Its meaning, expressed by way of pairs of opposing motifs such as light-darkness, weakness-strength, life-death, silence-noise, young child-mature man, distances the reader from the forseeable sorrow of Senderines in the face of his father’s death. | es_ES |
