La fe: entre manifestación y secreto. En torno a la eucología hispano-mozárabe

Abstract

El artículo analiza el vocabulario mistérico del rito hispano-mozárabe. La eucología hispana presta especial atención al tema de los secretos de Dios, destacando en esta categoría ante todo la trascendencia divina, sin descuidar el interés en el secreto de los confesores y mártires entendido como «fidelidad» a su propia identidad y «sabiduría» que dirige a los creyentes por los caminos seguros de la fe. Es una «receta» de la vida genuinamente cristiana. La respuesta adecuada ante ese secreto, que se hace accesible a los amigos, es el silencio contemplativo y operativo en el testimonio de la vida.

This paper discusses the vocabulary of Hispanic-Mozarabic rite related to the concept of mystery. The «secrets of God» are especially present in the Hispanic euchology, in which divine transcendence is deeply stressed. At the same time the Hispanic euchology reveals his interest in the secret of the confessors and martyrs, which is understood as «fidelity» to their own identity and as a «wisdom» who guide believers through paths of faith. The appropriate response to that secret, which becomes accessible to friends, is the contemplative and operative silence in the testimony of life.
