Fin y final en tres narraciones hispanoamericanas

Abstract

Se muestra un importante procedimiento de interpretación del discurso narrativo no muy frecuentado por los críticos: el final de las historias. A través del examen del arte de concluir es posible conocer los fines internos de la conducta de los personajes. De esta manera se llega a la visión del mundo del autor y de cómo ésta determina la organización del argumento. Tres escritores argentinos de ideologías muy distintas (Borges, Marechal y Cortázar) proporcionan una aproximación al estudio de los finales narrativos. This paper shows an important way of interpretation of the narrative discourse, not oftenly used by the critics: the end of the stories. Through the study of the art of ending it is possible to learn about the internal purposes of the characters. So, we can achieve a thorough visión of the authors' world and how it affects the plot's structure. Three argentinian writers with different ideologies (Borges, Marechal and Cortázar) provide an enligthening approach to the study of the narrative endings.
